North York Arts 15th Anniversary Celebration
North York Arts is celebrating 15 years of uplifting artists and communities across North York 🥳
To mark this milestone, we have hosted a series of DJ workshops, culminating in a celebratory evening event that brings together past artists, facilitators, partners, and community members who have been part of our journey. The evening will feature a showcase of workshop participants performing alongside established DJs, while highlighting the history and evolution of NYA.
This event is an opportunity to celebrate NYA’s 15-year legacy while reconnecting with our community. It offers participants a hands-on creative experience and a platform to showcase their growth, while bringing together the artists, facilitators, and partners who have shaped our story.

DJ Workshop Lead: Benjamin de Graaf (DJ Elegance)
Benjamin de Graaf (DJ Elegance) is a Downsview local, musical connoisseur/curator and experiential event strategist. His musical style incorporates a wide variety of styles from past to present mixed or blended to perfection and filled with a twist of musical experimentation. When he is not lighting up event spaces, he’s instructing/teaching new DJs through his successful DJ Academy or working with youth in schools and the community using his arts-based educational workshops (Love Music Initiative).
