Meet Definitely Dance

Donna began dancing at the age of 3 and never looked back. Over the years, she has studied dance in New York City at Broadway Dance Center and completed her BFA with an Honours in Dance at York University. Donna has always had a passion for teaching and founded Definitely Dance in 2010 to share her love of movement with others. She hopes to inspire future dancers and empower them through movement and creativity.

Shifah Halima

Ugandan Kigandan Dance

Meet Shifah

Shifah is an emerging performing artist rooted in Afro dance, blending rhythm, tradition, and storytelling to celebrate culture and community. Her work moves beyond choreography—she sees dance as a source of joy, grounding, and self-discovery. Drawing inspiration from the connective power of African traditional dance, she creates spaces where participants can move freely, confidently, and creatively. Through her workshops, she invites others to experience the transformative energy of rhythm and movement, unlocking expression that extends beyond dance into all forms of art.
