Getting Paid at North York Arts
To get paid for your work with North York Arts, you will need to submit an invoice.
Your invoice should be addressed to North York Arts and include our full address:
5040 Yonge Street, M2N 6R8
Your invoice must include:
Payable To: Your full name and address
Invoice number
Phone number
Email for payment
Description of the work you provided for the project
Amount invoiced (plus HST if applicable)
HST registration number (if applicable)
HST # (if applicable)
Please note that all payments are made via Plooto, an online payment service provider. We do not issue cheques.
If you have not been paid before by North York Arts, you will need to complete our Direct Deposit Form (click here), so that we are able to deposit funds directly to your account.
Invoices are processed on a bi-weekly basis, so depending on when you submit your invoice, it can take between 5-20 business days to receive payment.
If you are paid $500 or more by NYA within a calendar year, we are required by law to issue a T4A tax slip. To file these slips, we require your Social Insurance Number. Tax slips are issued between January and February 28th of each calendar year.
